National Denim Day - Dress for the CURE - May 14th
In May 1997, the CURE Foundation inaugurated NATIONAL DENIM DAY as its main fundraiser. This event is held annually on the Tuesday following Mother's Day. For the past several years, Effort Trust and its employees have supported this incredible movement! By donating a suggested amount of $5, each staff member proudly wears the CURE's 'pink flower' ribbon and denim on May 14th in support of the fight against breast cancer.
With apartments in the Greater Hamilton & Burlington areas, Niagara Region, and Kitchener-Waterloo areas, Effort Trust encourages participation in this great event from all its employees and hopes to help raise awareness for breast cancer along with all Canadians. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, an estimated 22, 700 new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in women, 200 new cases in men, and 5,155 persons died of this disease in 2012. All of us have been affected by cancer in some way. On May 14th, please participate by supporting the CURE Foundation.
Show your support, wear denim, raise money, or donate to the CURE Foundation.
