Happy Father's Day
Father's Day 2014 weekend Is Sky Fest! Here in Hamilton, Ontario, we like to take to the sky on Father's Day. If you are looking for a way to spoil dad this weekend (as we are sure he is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for) you have a couple of original options involving cool airplanes old and new.
This year on Saturday June 14 and Sunday June 15, take a drive out to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum located at 9280 Airport Road in Mount Hope, Ontario and look up...look way up! From 9am – 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday buy tickets and get up-close and personal with aircraft like a 1945 Lancaster Bomber Plane or watch the amazing antics of the Flying Horsemen.
On Saturday evening settle in for a Gourmet BBQ Dinner with the family and an amazing night airshow full of lights, smoke, fireworks and flying! It's a bird, it's a plane…wait, it is a plane, and a great gift for dad!
