WE ARE FAMILY!
We might not ALL be blood related here at Effort Trust, but we do come together like a family when there is a worthy cause. Today I congratulate my fellow workers and second family in a job well done!
Effort Trust has registered a team to participate in the "2015 Strides for the General Hospital" on Sept. 19th, 2015 at Bayfront Park in Hamilton and today, we came together to start off the fundraising with a staff BBQ. So far the 'ET Walkers' (team name), has managed to raise a whopping $850.00 for the cause.
This event supports the purchase of high-priority equipment for Hamilton General Hospital, our regional center of excellence in specializing in cardiac and vascular care, neuroscience, trauma and burn treatment, stroke and rehabilitation.
A special thanks goes out to our own 'Chef Tony' and all of his worthy assistants and the award for best 'behind the scenes laborers' goes to Jen M. and Sheri for all their hard work! Susan and the downstairs gang really know how to put on a successful and might I add, tasty shindig!
