Wow, what a great season of donating we just had and I am sure it will not end there. The staff and associates here at Effort Trust have certainly been busy over the Holidays, collecting non-perishable food items, winter clothing and accessories, as well as cash donations to buy gift cards and sponsor families in need. Starting as early as October, the Hamilton Office sent internal notices to everyone explaining what was going to be asked of them in the coming months and wow did they ever deliver. Once this began, people who visit our office (contractors, investors and employees from the other Effort Trust locations) saw what was going on and they joined in on the giving Spirit as well! Our own Danielle Green took on the daunting task of 'Project Organizer' under the careful Supervision of Susan Crowley and with the assistance of many, truly turned the Holidays into the 'Season of Hope and Giving'.
Effort Trust and those affiliated adopted some local schools, shelters and elderly in need, sending gift cards, food, clothing items and monetary amounts collected from everyone. Staff took turns delivering these items and got to see the incredible smiles that their contributions put on the faces of many. All in all it was a great success! Effort Trust has in turn received wonderful, heartfelt thank-you letters and hand-made (by elementary school children) cards of thanks that the staff has really enjoyed reading! Way to go everyone! Stay tuned for Danielle's next project…….If I know Danielle, she is far from done!
